The title of this post is for you Ms. Sherry! For the rest, let me explain. My younger brother got married today. It has been a whirlwind of a week trying to do wedding stuff and put up vegetables for my family. However, my brother is now happily married to a very sweet girl whom I am glad to have as my sister-in-love! Grace was a beautiful flower girl and did really well. I was the one everyone asked "Who is she?" My hair is very curly and today I had the girl straighten it. I really liked it, if only I had the patience to do that every day.
Oh and a cute little something from my sweet five year old girl. She asked where we were going and I said "Uncle Brian's house." She replied, "Uncle Brian's and Aunt Cassie's." She's watching out for you Cassie. Anyway, wishing you the best in all life has to offer.

What a week!
So last Sunday was Grace's baptism. She was so excited and we were so proud. What was really neat was her paternal grandfather was also being baptized at his church the same day. Praise God! That evening was the AWANA awards ceremony and I was proud of my two oldest for all of their accomplishments!
Monday we left for a few days to Jim's parents. That was relaxing and fun. The oldest two call his mom Mama Kiki, but Samuel calls her Mama Cookie. It is really funny. We then left Friday to spend the weekend at Jekyll Island. It was a much needed break. We played putt-putt, rode bikes around the island and hung out at the beach. The kids had a great time and even Samuel got in the water. It was interesting to watch him combat crawl down the beach at the waters edge.
This week is VBS and time to put up vegetables. We spend all day at my folks house canning and such and then the kids go to their church for VBS. I think they are having a great time.
Friday we will meet with a student at the nearby college who is from Vietnam. We hope to learn some words and have him talk to Samuel.
I have one other thing. Some friends of ours have a cousin who is five-years old and she is battling a type of brain cancer. Please remember Hunter and her family in your prayers.
