My friend and soc...I can testify to the paperwork. My friend and social worker often told me that I was "paper pregnant." I remember the hard part about all of that paperwork is that I'd hurry up and fill it all out (sometimes staying up in the wee hours of the morning), only to send it off and wait some more. At least when I had paperwork to do, I felt in control. It was harder for me just waiting to hear something back.
