Woo - Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have just received our pre-approval for our I 600. This is so exciting. At every step that has been drawn out and full of disappointment I think that step will never come. Of course, it always happens and I think I get more excited each time something is accomplished. Right now I am so overjoyed I think I might scream (and I would except my whole family is sleeping and might not appreciate it). So this means we may travel in about two weeks. I really hope so. I guess now I will be a maniac cleaning my house and cramming in school for the kids. Wow, I can't believe it is real. I have prayed for this child for so long and now it is really going to happen. God is good and it is amazing how wonderful He is!

Tet is closing in fast!!

As January is quickly coming to a close, I am preparing for travel. I emailed Jynger today to let her know we only need two days to get ready. I am packed and ready to go, all I need is plane tickets. Hey I might could even be on a flight the same day=) Seriously, I am so hoping for January travel because I might just go bonkers if I have to wait until March.

Lots of Good News!!

Well there is lots to report. Yesterday a bunch of ladies from our church met to sew together bears for us to take to the orphanage. This was really touching to see so many people come together to help us. They got about 70 bears I think. The Awana kids will stuff them Wednesday night as I talk about Samuel and our upcoming trip. After the Sunday night service the congregation took up a love offering for us. I am not sure how much was collected, but we will get a check this week from the church. Praise God, because this was much needed.

On the travel end, we received an email today saying we are now on step 11 of 12. I really hope this means we will get "the call" soon. I am grateful for this update because after a devotional I had this week I gave up begging God. My devotional was about King Hezekiah who begged God to give him more years to live. God granted him this plea and he begat Manasseh during this time. Manasseh then grew up to be the most evil king to ever rule Judah. If only King Hezekiah would have accepted God's wisdom and will for his life. So thank you Lord for this update and I know travel is in Your wonderful timing.

Happy Birthday to my Man!

Today Jim, my husband, turns 39! I am really hoping that Jynger and Katie have a present for my husband (a travel date). Actually that would be more of a present for me but I know he would love it too. We did get our Visa's yesterday so at least we are ready whenever we get the call. Please pray it is soon.

A great start for 08

2008 is off to a great start!!!! We received this latest picture of Samuel today. I'm not sure who took it and sent it to Jynger, but thanks a millon. I really do hope for more exciting news over the next few days. I know I shouldn't get my hopes up but it is really hard not to.

Christmas was a blast. My sweet son has about 25 presents wrapped up under his tree for Samuel. I may just let him leave his tree up until Samuel gets here. New Year's was great as well. Blake and his Pappa watched football all day. That night we all sat down together to watch the Sugar Bowl. Go GA!!!!!!!!! Right now we are trying to stay warm. The temp is down in the 20's right now. If only Monday would hurry up and get here and the temp will be back in the 70's.
