Paperwork off to Vietnam!!

We received our I 171-H equivilant this past Friday. Now let me tell you I was a basket case. I checked the mail to find an envelope from Immigration and was so excited. Then after looking at the document closely I realized it did not say I 171-H. I was devestated but held onto a little hope. I tried to get in touch with our social workers to no avail. I then tried a friend who had gone through the Atlanta office. I couldn't get in touch with her. Finally after two hours, which felt like two days, it was confirmed that indeed a 797 is the same as a 171. Thank you Jesus!!! So today I sent the paperwork in to Dillon. I hope that all of our paperwork gets sent to Vietnam this week or next.

Now that our paperwork is headed to Vietnam I am beginning to have hope we may travel before the end of the year. This would be so awesome. Grace and I had some time together this morning and we went shopping for Samuel some clothes. This is the first time I have really allowed myself to buy for him. I am still unsure of the size so I am buying 3T since he will be 3 in December, but I may have to buy 2T when he gets here.

So now the prayer request is for our paperwork to be translated quickly and not get lost. (Robbie I know you understand.)

YES!!! I do hope you travel before the end of the year.

I think you'll definitely want to bring some 2Ts to Vietnam. Sera was 3.5 when we traveled and the 3Ts were a bit roomy and the 2Ts fit perfect. Of course there's plenty of shopping there, too! :)

Oh, Amy, I understand indeed.
I pray God's peace as you wait and speedy travels.

Sorry I'm writing this way, but wanted to tell you we got a picture of Samuel. We didn't see him much while we were there. It was a quick trip but I might have him on video. I'll check when I get back. I'll try to send the pics to Dillon today if possible.
