Well, it is officially summer!! Jim had graduation Friday night and then we traveled to Valdosta for his nephews graduation. Tommy only had 7 people in his class, but I think each kid had at least 20-25 people there so it was a pretty big graduation. Yesterday, Jim played taps for a local Memorial Day service. It was very nice. We then spent the rest of the day at my folks house just hanging out.
Our family has not had much to happen but some others we are close to have exciting news. My brother will be getting married in a month. Grace is the flower girl and she can't wait to wear her pretty dress. Momma on the other hand is a little sad because it makes her look all grown up.
My best a dearest friend Heather let me know this week she is expecting again. This will be baby number 6 and it will be a boy. Anyone have any good name suggestions. They call all of their children by double names (ie Jackson Riley, George Henry).
In Samuel news, he is doing great. His language is astounding. He knows so many words and has just settled right in. Hopefully I can post new pics soon.

Praise the Lord!!!!!
Okay I just have to send up praise. My little girl just got saved!!! She had been asking questions for a while and we answered. Then tonight at church she said "Momma I have to go talk with Bro. Andy." I said okay and off we went down the aisle. Well, we are having revival and so she ended up talking with Mr. Luke, the youth minister, instead. At first she wasn't sure about that but then she opened up.
To add to that excitement, Samuel has been going around singing "Jesus Loves Me." It is really the cutest thing. I have been trying to upload a video clip of this but haven't gotten there yet.
Blake is also doing really well with taking over and doing things around the house. I am truly blessed.

How quickly they learn!
This week marks two months since we have been home. I can't believe it has only been that long. Vietnam seems like a distant memory, but definately a place I want to return to. However, my son has so astounded me this week with the things he knows. One day this week he was counting something and he got all the way to 10 in English. I couldn't not believe it. What's even better is the fact that he even has the southern drawl when he says eight. I don't even know how to begin to explain it. I guess he learned this in the orphanage because all we have taught was 1, 2, 3, GO! (Ha!)
Last night I changed the CD that the boys were listening to and lo and behold I heard him trying to sing Jesus loves me and Kumm by Ya(sp?)!!! He couldn't get the words but he hummed like he knew exactly what was coming next. It is so amazing.
This morning in church the preacher kept saying "my daddy ...." "my daddy...." and Samuel would look and say "my dada" and point to Jim. It was the cutest thing.
Not much else in our world. We are counting down until Jim is finished with school. I sure hope it comes quick because we need a small break.
