Hallie

Okay, I wrote a few days ago about finding my daughter. Well this is her. Her name is Hallie and she lives in Armenia. The only thing keeping us seperated is 26,000 dollars. Now I know the economy is bad, but I can assure you that this is a better investment than Wall Street. To be able to raise this child to know the love and acceptance found in Christ. To be able to provide her with parents and siblings. I know that I don't have very many readers out there but I covet the prayers of anyone who reads this blog. I would also appreciate any suggestions with how to raise $26,000.

What a beautiful girl! I pray that you will be able to raise the money. See if your church can assist you in doing any fundraisers. And check with Shaohannah's Hope organization. I'm sure these are ideas you've already thought of. Hallie would be a beautiful addition to your family. Good luck!

One idea... doesn't really solve the issue in terms of total dollars, but helps with cash flow:
Consider finding someone who would pay some of your expenses in exchange for the federal adoption tax credit. You can "assign" it to anyone who pays qualified expenses. It works out almost like a loan to you that is paid back by the government when they do their taxes. Of course then you wouldn't be able to use the credit, but you don't have to come up with that $11k in cash either.
I hope it works out for you - she is beautiful!

She is beautiful! Just remember that God owns it ALL. He can make a way. I'll be praying.

She is so beautiful--we too want to adopt again, but still paying our trip expenses and Layne Nhi's upcoming surgeries. I will keep you and her in our prayers!!!
