I can't seem to make the picture clearer. |
Tonight while I was cooking dinner, Jim had the children upstairs having a voice lesson. Their voices were so very sweet as they sang. As they did, I envisioned the Von Trapp children singing such beautiful music and I felt like Maria.
After a while he had them sing individually and the first up was Samuel. Let me tell you, nothing is sweeter than hearing a seven year old boy from a closed country sing "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus." Oh, I just melted to hear him sing knowing that it is a real possibility that he may have never heard of Jesus. Now praising God, that we can raise him to not only know Jesus, but hopefully to spend a lifetime serving HIM.
Now to work on Jim to expand our family to look a little more like the Von Trapp family. Heeheehee.

Amy, I read your comment on Linny's blog, and wanted you to know that I am praying for you. I have been praying for over 2 years that we could adopt again, and my husband seems to be very like yours. He says that we cannot start another adoption until we have most of the money saved up for one. I keep telling him that if God calls, He will provide, but my husband feels it's more important to "be faithful with what we have" right now. Know that I am praying with you and commiserating with you today!
amy :)
