Okay, so on this coming Monday I will turn 30!!!!! I can't wait!!! You guys are all invited to the surprise party I'm throwing. I promise I will looked shocked. LOL!!!!
Really, I am kinda hyped about this birthday because I get to join the "big girl club." See I was 20 when I had my first child and so most of my friends are several years older than I am. Because of this I am often referred to as just a baby. I know I should enjoy this! Anyway, so I'm working yesterday and a teenage girl and her mom come in the store. We strike up a conversation and she asks what my last name is. I tell her McBride and the teenage girl says "Oh, is Mr. McBride at school your daddy?" I bout fell out!!! I said that's my husband and she just said "Oh." Now if this doesn't make turning 30 even more fun!!! In his defense he is almost 12 years older than me, but it still made me feel good.

Bring it on chick!! Thirty is not so bad, except I don't feel 31! Someone asked me the other day how old I was, and I almost said, "29." Oops, that was two years ago!
