What now?

This is the question I ask myself as I sit and ponder what God is up to. Our life has taken a few twists and turns over the last couple of years. Jim has felt that it was time for him to move on for a couple of years.

Last year we thought it was to go back into the mil*tary so he tried with every branch. No one had a spot available for what he does. Okay, so maybe we misheard God. We plug away for another year.

This past spring he starts sending out applications to other schools. While I was in Africa, there was even an interview that we thought was pretty promising. When that didn't work out I told Jim there was always a position available in Africa. Our conversations soon shifted from "if" to "when."

Now the latest twist is that the mil*tary called him!! Yesterday he gets a call from a guy he talked to a year ago. The guy told him some things have changed and he had Jim on his mind. REALLY???

So now we are back to square one trying to discern what God wants. We were so set to finish out the school year and begin preparing ourselves for the next stage of life. Now we may be preparing for something new in a matter of weeks.
Please pray with us that God will make things abundantly clear. Right now both of us are just reeling at the possibilities. In the meantime my husband started school today :)
