I'm not sure how to put into words what I want to say. Most of you who read my blog know that I want to adopt again. Many times over if the Lord allows, but at least once more. I really feel like now is the time, but I am so scared. With Samuel's adoption I was ready to jump out there and trust God for all that we needed. He was a so faithful to provide what we needed, but I feel like maybe I got ahead of Him at times. I had a hard time asking people to help us with the financial part of the adoption so now we are working to pay down some of the debt incurred during the adoption. I know that financially we could not pay for another adoption ourselves. So I ask that you please pray that somehow the support we need is provided (either the money or people to come along and help us raise the $) or else I will be content and patient.
Just tonight my bible study led me to Galatians 4:4-5 "But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son... ... so that we might receive adoption as sons." I know that when the "fullness of time" has come we will be able to adopt again. Just pray that I can see and know when that has occured.

Hey, I can do it!!!
Okay, I have been very jealous of all my Dillon friends who had such cute blogs. Well, I have finally taken time to make mine a little more fancy. Tonight I even learned how to do a few other things. I think I am most proud of my playlist. We are a musical family so to hear music while I blog and to let others know my preference was pretty cool. I just might get this technology after all.

Talking with children
So my husband is out getting the grill ready for tonight. Grace (5) comes in and asks "Do we have any toast hangers?" I knew she wanted to toast marshmallows so I replied, "I think we can round some up." Grace: "How do you round them up?" So sweet.
Just then Samuel comes rushing in and says, "Wabbits here, I need cracker!" We feed our free range rabbit saltine crackers so we always keep some by the back door. I proceed to unwind the twist-tie when he asks "You unbutton?" Yeah, I unbutton =) Wow, the way kids word things. It is absolutely adorable.

Fall Fun...
So what do you get when you cross a pumpkin with a band director?
Answer found at the bottom of the post.
So life has been moving pretty good. I have had some great suggestions on how to raise money to adopt Hallie (see post below.) I really am praying God will show us how to proceed with this, if at all. I think back to two years ago this time as I was looking a pictures of children. I found the cutest little boy. Jim's response, "Yeah they are all cute." Not at all thinking of adoption. Just the other day he came in as I was looking at pics of waiting children and he said "I couldn't pick just one. Someone else would have to pick for me." Wow what God can do!!! By the way the cute little boy is now the joy and laughter of our family. I mean if this kid ever goes to public school he will stay in the office for clowning around. He can bring a smile to anyone's face.
Okay I know all of you have been waiting in suspense for the answer to the riddle above. Shame if you scrolled down before reading my post. HaHa!
Blake's work of art with his pumpkin. This is his daddy. You can't see but he has hands on the sides and he is holding his trumpet. Just a little update. I found out today that Hallie has a family. Guess I'll just keep praying. This does make me a little sad today. Maybe I need to just crawl in bed and listen to the rain.

Hallie

Okay, I wrote a few days ago about finding my daughter. Well this is her. Her name is Hallie and she lives in Armenia. The only thing keeping us seperated is 26,000 dollars. Now I know the economy is bad, but I can assure you that this is a better investment than Wall Street. To be able to raise this child to know the love and acceptance found in Christ. To be able to provide her with parents and siblings. I know that I don't have very many readers out there but I covet the prayers of anyone who reads this blog. I would also appreciate any suggestions with how to raise $26,000.

Silly Boys!
Okay, I had to post just a quick little something. I got up just a minute ago to get on to the boys for laughing and playing and not going to sleep. Well, I walk into the room and I am greeted by two boys wearing their pajama bottoms on their heads. I couldn't get on to them. It was all I could do to make it out of the room with a half-stern face. Boys can be so silly! I love it.

A New Look
So I finally took time to figure this thing out. I am still not a computer whiz, but I have been able to make my blog a little more attractive. (At least I think so.)
Well this weekend is a big deal for us. Grace will be dancing during her daddy's half-time show and Blake will be playing the bells. These two have been to band functions since they were infants and so they are both ready to join the fun. Since bringing Samuel home Jim has been more open to having them at reherseals. This has allowed time for just me and Sam, but now he is getting the itch. He goes around singing band tunes and calling his brother and sister to attention. It is quite cute.
Speaking of getting the itch... I am ready to start the adoption process for our little girl. There is only one slight problem: CASH. Does anyone out there have an extra $26,000 they might would like to part with. It's for a good cause I promise. I have found the most adorable little girl in Armenia. I found her through a friend who had suggested looking at the children on reecesrainbow.com Well, she is just adorable. She has a couple of "special needs" but I think would be perfect for our family. Her name is Hallie and she is 4. I do pray God would please show me exactly what His desire is in this situation.

Recovery...
Wow, two posts in one week. What is this world coming to?! Well today Samuel had a little out patient procedure. He did absolutely wonderful. When we got there and got checked in he told me he wanted to go home. I told him that as soon as the doctor was through. We turned on cartoons and he was set. The nurse came in and took his vitals and he did great. I was impressed with the new thermometer. You use it kinda like a wand and rub it over the forehead. Neat to me. Anyway, I talked to different docs and away he went. The hospital was great. One of the docs actually toted him to the back while the nurse pushed the bed. Made things a little easier for him.
He was gone for about an hour and then I went back to recovery with him. He was absolutely wonderful. We waited around for the usual drink and potty and then away we went. I tell ya this man is a trooper! He has been on the couch all afternoon and has watched movie after movie. Hopefully in another day or two we will be back to normal.

Football Season!!!
Okay, so football season is in full swing and that means the band is too. So far our team has not lost a game! Woo-hoo, state championship here we come. However, this also makes for a very long band season and guess who has been tapped as the flag instructor!? ME!!! Okay, it has been years since I even held a flag much less did a routine. Now I have to make up a routine for seven girls to perform in a little less than two weeks. It's short notice because the former instructor has been out. To top it all off the songs are classical stuff like Beethoven's 5th and Farondole (sp?). Needless to say this has been a very long two days! I guess if my husband's love language is acts of service he really knows I love him!
The kids have really enjoyed it. They always love going to Daddy's band practice and now they get to go everyday for the entire practice. Samuel of course has found the dirt area and has been black each evening. Not much else to report. We go this weekend for the final social worker visit. I am praying we can get up there and back b/c they say Atlanta has been short on gas. It will sure be a long walk home if not! Robbie, you and Stan keep your phones close in case we have to call you to come pick us up. HaHa!
